Khartoum Executive Director Visits Jabra, Announces Service Plans

The Executive Director of Khartoum Locality, Abdelmoniem Bashir, performed Friday prayers at Jabra South Mosque (Block 15), where he inspected the conditions of residents and met with the neighborhood Services Committee to review the overall service and environmental situation in the area.

Following the prayers, he addressed the worshippers, beginning his remarks by extending sincere congratulations to the Sudanese Armed Forces on their successive victories and the defeat of the rebel militia. He also highly praised the patriotic role of Jabra residents, commending their resilience and return to their homes, which he described as a fundamental step toward restoring normal life in the area.

Regarding public services, Bashir confirmed that the locality has completed its plans to provide and restore all essential services in the neighborhood. Priority is being given to opening and clearing rainwater drainage channels in preparation for the upcoming rainy season. He listened attentively to a report presented by the neighborhood Services Committee outlining the key challenges facing residents.

Citizens called for urgent repairs to electricity faults and the restoration of power supply to the remaining homes in the area. He pledged to remove all obstacles and expedite the return of electricity as soon as possible.
In the same context, the Executive Director announced the launch of a comprehensive cleaning campaign covering all blocks of Jabra.

He explained that the campaign aims to remove war-related debris and waste, improve environmental health, support recovery efforts, and facilitate the return of more residents to their homes.

He emphasized that the initiative is receiving significant support from the Government of Khartoum State to ensure its success and the achievement of its objectives.
