Côte d’Ivoire, announces support for the sovereignty, unity, and development of Sudan

Ms. Nialé Kaba, the State Minister of Foreign Affairs, and International Cooperation of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, announced her country’s support for the sovereignty, unity, and development of Sudan.
These statements were made during the Ivorien Minister’s meeting with His Excellency the Sudanese Chargé d’affaires in Abidjan, Ambassador Mukhtar Bilal Abdelsalam, who delivered a written message from His Excellency the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed to his Ivorian counter-part Nialé Kaba.
The Chargé d’affaires discussed with the Minister, the bilateral relations and the issue of signing a memorandum of understanding between Sudan and Côte d’Ivoire in cooperation and political consultations. He also briefed her about the latest developments in Sudan in political and security situations.
The Chargé d’Affaires congratulated the Minister on her recent honoring in France and being awarded the price of the Best African Minister for the year 2026.
H.E. Nialé Kaba expressed her gratitude for the message from His Excellency Minister Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed and reaffirmed her country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations in all fields, as well as cooperation and coordination in regional and international forums on issues of common interest.
