Committee for Preparing Secondary School Examination Marking and Control Centers Finalizes Arrangements to Receive 7,000 Markers

The Committee for Preparing Marking and Examination Control Centers for the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate Examinations continues its intensive meetings in preparation for receiving more than 7,000 male and female markers from across Sudan. Eight centers have been designated and equipped for personnel working in the examination control units.
These efforts are being supervised by the committee chaired by Mr. Tarek Mahmoud Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the General Union of Public Education Workers, with Dr. Mohamed Ahmed, Assistant Head of the Trade Union Authority in Khartoum State, serving as committee rapporteur. The committee also includes Mr. Nizar Al-Sheikh Idris Wad Badr, Chairman of the Sudanese Teachers’ Union and Head of the Support Committee, while Mr. Abbas Mohamed Ahmed Habiballah, President of the General Union of Public Education Workers, serves as the overall supervisor of this national undertaking.
The committee has prepared 47 accommodation centers for markers, in addition to eight centers designated for examination control staff. These facilities have been equipped with between 600 and 700 beds each and have undergone maintenance, with water and electricity services provided.
Each center has been assigned four workers and four full-time union teachers to serve the markers, in addition to a health worker, the school principal, and security personnel to ensure the smooth running of operations.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Al-Tahami Al-Zain Hajar, along with Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Amr, Mr. Moatasim Al-Sheikh, Director General of Measurement and Evaluation, and Mr. Khalid Ali Othman, Director of Examinations, are closely monitoring all arrangements. The Ministry has mobilized all available resources to ensure the success of the marking process and the reception of markers participating in this important national mission.
