Cabinet Commits to Providing Meals for Secondary School Examination Marking Centers

Following efforts led by the Minister of Education and National Education, Dr. Tehami, Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has committed to providing meals for all Sudanese Secondary School Certificate examination marking centers across the country’s localities.
In this context, a delegation from the General Education Workers’ Union and the Professional Union, led by  Abbas Habiballah,  Nizar Elsheikh, Hazim Suleiman, and  Abdul Rahim, met with the Higher Committee, which included Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry, along with the directors of the offices of the Minister and the Undersecretary, Al-Sharif, Haider Madawi, and  Musa, Director of Financial Affairs.
During the meeting, Abbas Habiballah, President of the General Education Workers’ Union, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education and National Education for their significant support to teachers working at the examination marking centers. He emphasized that this initiative reflects the government’s recognition of the teachers’ vital role in ensuring the successful completion of the national secondary school examinations.
