The Technical Committee for the Social Development Sector Holds a Meeting Today

The Technical Committee for the Social and Cultural Development Sector of the Council of Ministers held a meeting today, chaired by Mr. Ali Al-Sheikh Mohammed Al-Sammani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The meeting discussed the five-year strategic plan (2026-2030) for the Ministries of Human Resources and Social Welfare, and Religious Affairs and Endowments, and recommended its approval.

The Ministry of Social Welfare’s plan aims to promote solidarity, tolerance, and virtuous values, achieve social justice, and reduce poverty rates to achieve social welfare. The strategic plan also aims to strengthen policies and plans related to administrative reform and the development and improvement of public services.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments’ plan aims to develop and enhance the mechanisms and methods of preaching and guidance, employing them in outreach programs and projects. It also seeks to strengthen the foundations of coexistence and religious tolerance, thereby unifying society and ensuring its security and stability. Furthermore, the plan aims to preserve endowment assets, develop their resources, and guarantee their continued benefit.
