Minnawi attacks the UAE, reveals foreign interference in Sudan’s war

Darfur Governor of Darfur, Minni Arko Minnawi, revealed what he described as the involvement of foreign parties in supporting the Rapid Support Forces militia with weapons and drones. He indicated that tracking the drones used in recent attacks showed they were launched from airports outside Sudan.
In his statements, Minnawi accused the UAE of sending seven cargo flights loaded with weapons in a single night, coinciding with the announcement of millions of dollars in humanitarian aid during international conferences. He considered this an attempt to “whitewash military crimes with a humanitarian guise.”
Minnawi affirmed that Sudan has not closed its doors to investment and economic cooperation, but questioned the reasons behind what he described as interventions that contribute to prolonging the war and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the country.
