PM and Khartoum Governor visit the Green Yard.

His Excellency Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris praised the massive mobilization and the entities that contributed to the rehabilitation of the Green Yard after it, like other public facilities, was deliberately vandalized by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. He noted the importance of the Green Yard as a public space and a popular recreational area for families, as well as a venue for social, cultural, and sporting activities.

This came during his visit this evening to the Green Yard in Khartoum, accompanied by the Governor of Khartoum State, Mr. Ahmed Osman Hamza.

His Excellency directed the continuation of the ongoing rehabilitation work, particularly the rehabilitation of the track and the sports hall.

The Prime Minister reiterated his call for Sudanese citizens abroad to voluntarily return to the national capital, Khartoum, adding, “Khartoum is safe and stable.”
