Minister of Higher Education Praises the Efforts of West Kordofan University

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa, met with the Director of West Kordofan University, Professor Sayed Ali Fadl Al-Mawla, and received a comprehensive briefing on the university’s administrative and academic performance during the recent period, as well as its future plans, which include the continuation of in-person studies across various faculties, the activation of scientific research, and the utilization of modern technologies and digital transformation.
The Director of the university explained that the institution has completed preparations at all its temporary centers to resume and continue in-person classes, noting that studies will commence in seven faculties starting on June 7.
The meeting also addressed the importance of creating a suitable university environment that ensures stability and comfort for professors, students, and staff. He pointed out that the university is among the institutions requiring government support, particularly as it is currently hosting Al-Zaeem Al-Azhari University, Imam Al-Mahdi University, and Kordofan University.
Both sides emphasized the importance of supporting the stability of the educational process and providing the needs of higher education institutions in a way that guarantees the continuation of in-person learning and enhances the quality of academic performance.
