Medical Supplies and Health Insurance in River Nile State Discuss Enhancing Pharmaceutical Supply Services

As part of efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and improve healthcare services, the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund – River Nile State Branch, Dr. Farouk Faisal Ahmed, received at his office a delegation from the National Medical Supplies Fund – River Nile State Branch.
The meeting was attended by Moatasim Sayed Ahmed, Director of Human and Financial Resources, and Hussein Abdelaziz, Director of the Executive Office, along with the Head of the Claims Department and the Head of the Pharmacy Department at the Health Services Administration of the Health Insurance Fund.

The delegation of the Medical Supplies Fund was headed by Dr. Safaa Mahdi Hassan, Director of the River Nile State Branch, accompanied by Dr. Ayman Mahmoud, representative of the Supervision Department, and Ms. Ikhlas Abdelaziz, Financial Controller at the National Medical Supplies Fund.

The meeting discussed a number of joint issues and files related to developing and improving pharmaceutical services provided to health insurance beneficiaries. It also focused on strengthening coordination between the two entities to ensure the smooth flow of medical supplies and enhance the efficiency of healthcare services within health insurance facilities in the state.

Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts and integrating roles between health insurance and medical supplies institutions, in order to achieve pharmaceutical stability and improve the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens in River Nile State.
