Farini Calls for Accelerating Implementation of Child Protection Workshop Outcomes and Praises Partnerships

Director General of the Ministry of Social Development and Rapporteur of the Technical Committee for follow up the Child Protection Action Plan,Sadiq Hassan Farini, chaired the committee’s regular meeting at the ministry’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by Abdel Qader Abu Al-Amin, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Child Welfare; Major General Dr. Moataz Al-Fadl, Director of the International Humanitarian Law Unit of the Armed Forces; and Zeinab Gouda, Secretary of the State Council for Child Welfare.

During the meeting, Farini emphasized the need to give the highest priority to the issues of survivors and child soldiers, stressing the importance of the immediate and full implementation of all outcomes from previous technical workshops to ensure an effective response to these sensitive issues.

Farini also praised the level of regional and international partnerships that have significantly contributed to strengthening protection mechanisms, affirming that such collaborations reflect a strong institutional and societal commitment to children’s rights.
