Acting Minister of Social Development Launches Eid Sacrifice Distribution for Families of Martyrs and Orphans

The Acting Minister of Social Development, Zulfiqar Ali, continued his field visits for the third consecutive day, launching the Eid sacrifice distribution program targeting families of martyrs, orphans, and vulnerable households in Karari and Khartoum localities. The initiative is sponsored and supported by the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH).
Zulfiqar Ali Mohammed commended the efforts being made to support vulnerable groups, emphasizing that the Ministry places families of martyrs and orphans among its top priorities in order to help ease their living conditions.
Dr. Mariam Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din, Director of the Social Development Department in Karari Locality, praised the effective partnership with international and local organizations, noting that the distribution forms part of a comprehensive plan aimed at reaching all vulnerable families within the locality.
Haram Al-Maqbool Suleiman, Director of the Social Development Department in Khartoum Locality, affirmed the locality’s continued commitment to caring for orphans. She called on the community to support and sponsor orphans by extending assistance and solidarity to them.
Najaat Mohammed Al-Hassan, representing the Orphans Care Council, expressed her appreciation to all those contributing to bringing joy to orphans and their families during these blessed days.
Meanwhile, representatives of the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) reaffirmed their commitment to continuing humanitarian and charitable projects in the region.
