The Sudanese Red Crescent Denies Its Participation in the Berlin Conference

The Sudanese Red Crescent Society has denied what has recently been circulated on some social media platforms regarding its participation in the Berlin Conference on Sudan, stressing that this information is incorrect and is not based on any official facts.
In an official statement, the Society explained that it is a neutral humanitarian institution that operates in accordance with the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and is fully committed to humanitarian and relief work inside Sudan without engaging in any activities of a political or inhumane nature.
The Society stressed that its activities are focused exclusively on providing support and assistance to those affected and in need, in cooperation with its local and international partners, and in a way that ensures the access of humanitarian services without any discrimination.
The Society stressed that it did not participate in the Berlin conference, either officially or informally, and affirmed its adherence to its neutrality and credibility, noting that it reserves the right to take the necessary legal action against any false information or allegations that may harm its reputation or humanitarian role.
