Prominent militia leader criticizes the Berlin Conference

Minister of Oil and Energy in the so-called parallel “Foundation” government, and advisor to the Rapid Support Forces militia, Al-Basha Tibiaq, leveled sharp criticism at the Berlin Conference scheduled for Wednesday on humanitarian issues in Sudan. Tibaiq stated that the conference is merely a reproduction of the Sudanese crisis, far removed from the true stakeholders.

He indicated that any international initiative that bypasses the stakeholders is an escape from reality, empty rhetoric unrelated to the true tragedy of Sudan. He added that seeking international funding in the name of the suffering of the Sudanese people is nothing but a new betrayal and a targeting of civilians from another angle.
