NMSF: Shipments of medicines from various programs arrive in Gezira State

The National Medical Supplies Fund (NMSF) announced the arrival of shipments of medicines from various programs, including economical treatment, emergency, and malaria drugs, to Gezira State, within the framework of strengthening the supply of medicines and improving health services in the state.

The Director of the Fund’s branch in Gezira State, Dr. Abu Bakr Khader, confirmed that the continued improvement in the flow of medicines is due to the stability of the senior management of medical supplies in Khartoum, as well as the presence of the Regional Chamber for the Central Sector in the island, which contributed to the stability and efficiency of the supply and its regular flow.

Dr. Abu Bakr explained in press statements that the medicines of the economic program for the month of April have been received, indicating that they include quality items that cover most of the basic needs, including antibiotics, medicines for chronic diseases, in addition to painkillers, which contributes to improving the provision of therapeutic services to citizens.
