Massive US Grant for Sudan

The World Food Programme (WFP) in Sudan confirmed its welcome of a $51.5 million financial contribution from the United States through the Sudan Humanitarian Fund.

The WFP explained that this support will enable it to provide emergency, life-saving food and cash assistance to affected families, in addition to providing essential logistical support to humanitarian partners working in the field to ensure the continuity of relief operations.
