With the support of the Turkish Red Crescent, the Sudanese Red Crescent in Khartoum State distributes Ramadan baskets in Khartoum

The Sudanese Red Crescent Society – Khartoum State Branch, with the support of the Turkish Red Crescent, continued to implement the Ramadan basket distribution program in the localities of Khartoum and Jebal Awliya in the Jabra and Abu Adam areas, as part of its humanitarian efforts to support the displaced and those affected by the war.
The Secretary-General of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Ahmed Al-Tayeb Suleiman, stressed the importance of joining humanitarian efforts to support those affected by the war, praising the significant role played by the Turkish Red Crescent in supporting humanitarian programs in Sudan, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Executive Director of Jebal Awlia Locality, Naji Banka, expressed the locality’s appreciation for the efforts of the Sudanese Red Crescent and its partners in supporting families affected by the war, stressing that these initiatives contribute to alleviating the living burdens of citizens and the displaced, and promote the values of solidarity and community solidarity.
Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Ali, Director of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society Khartoum State Branch, explained that the Ramadan Baskets Program is part of an integrated humanitarian plan implemented by the Society during the month of Ramadan, with the generous support of the Turkish Red Crescent Society. He pointed out that the project targets thousands of families affected by the war in various localities of Khartoum State.
