Minister of Higher Education Commends the Discipline of the NSWF Staff
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Students Welfare Fund (NSWF? commended the efforts of the Fund’s staff, describing their performance as disciplined and outstanding. He affirmed the Board of Trustees’ confidence in their ability to implement the new strategy and translate its outcomes into reality.
Mudawi conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Kamil Al-Tayeb Idris, to everyone, offering his congratulations on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and wishing the country security and stability. He also praised the spirit of giving and solidarity within the Fund’s community.
Mudawi pointed out that the Martyr Ali Abdel Fattah University City for female students represents a prime example of rehabilitation efforts, explaining that it was once in a state of ruin but is now well-prepared, all thanks to the efforts of the Fund’s members. He added that providing a suitable living environment for female students precedes the educational process, as it is the foundation of academic stability. He also highlighted the role of women in building society and emphasized that female students represent a significant pillar of the country’s future.
He added that the NSWF remains a fundamental pillar for the continuity of higher education through its role in providing housing and related services, noting the complementary roles between the Ministry and the Fund in achieving shared goals.
He stated that the Board of Trustees, during its meetings today, approved the Fund’s strategy and new regulations, which will contribute to developing student services and achieving stability for students and staff, including important positive developments in the coming phase.
Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the NSWF, Dr. Ahmed Hamza Al-Amin stated that the convening of the Board of Trustees represents a significant step in the process of improving performance. Hamza indicated that the meeting’s outcomes will positively impact the services provided, assuring staff and students that they will benefit everyone.
This came during a breakfast shared by members of the Board of Trustees of the NSWF with female students at the Martyr Ali Abdel Fattah University City in Omdurman.
