FM Receives Liberian Counterpart in Historic Visit to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

His Excellency Ambassador Mohi El-Din Salem, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Her Excellency Ms. Sarah Bisolo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, and her accompanying delegation this morning at Port Sudan Airport, at the start of a two-day official visit to Sudan. During the visit, the Liberian Minister is scheduled to hold official talks with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of officials, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and intensifying coordination in regional and international forums, particularly given Liberia’s membership in the United Nations Security Council.

It is worth noting that this visit is the first of its kind by a high-ranking Liberian official to Sudan in the last ten years, reflecting the development of bilateral relations and the keenness of both sides to expand the horizons of joint cooperation.
