Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, visits the NMSF

The National Medical Supplies Fund( NMSF) in Khartoum received an official delegation from the National Health Insurance Fund, headed by the Director General, Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem, along with his accompanying delegation, within the framework of strengthening institutional cooperation and supporting the strategic partnership between the two sides.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the extent of the damage to warehouses and offices during the past period and was briefed on the reconstruction and rehabilitation works carried out to restore the infrastructure and operational readiness.

Dr. Farouk Noor Al-Daem praised the great efforts made in the reconstruction and rehabilitation, appreciating the high spirit and strong will that contributed to the restoration of the facilities to work within a short period, stressing that what has been achieved represents
an important step on the way to the stability of health services.

The two sides also discussed the issues of the abundance of medicines in central warehouses, supply indicators, and the challenges related to securing needs, in addition to the status of the implementation of the agreement signed between the two institutions, stressing the importance of enhancing coordination and integration of roles to ensure the continuity of the provision of medicines and services to the insured.

For his part, Dr. Badreddine Mohamed Ahmed Al-Jazouli, Director of Medical Supplies Fund , welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his appreciation for the visit and stressing the Fund’s keenness to strengthen partnership and develop joint work mechanisms to contribute to improving the quality of health services provided to citizens.
