Al-Burhan Phones King Abdullah II and Affirms Sudan’s Full Support

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, made a phone call today, Sunday, to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, during which he inquired about the situation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan following the blatant Iranian aggression.
During the call, Lieutenant General Burhan affirmed Sudan’s unwavering support for the government and people of Jordan in the face of the Iranian aggression targeting the Kingdom’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.
Al-Burhan expressed the Sudanese government’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the face of these illegitimate Iranian attacks, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law and a threat to security and stability in the region.
He also conveyed his sincere wishes to the brotherly Jordanian people for continued security, peace, and tranquility, emphasizing the deep fraternal ties that bind the two countries and their peoples.
This call comes within the framework of Sudanese diplomatic efforts to express solidarity with the Arab countries that have been subjected to Iranian attacks, and to reaffirm the unified Arab stance in confronting threats targeting the sovereignty and stability of nations.
