Agreement Reached to Activate Cooperation Protocol Between Football Association and NSWF

Sudanese Football Association and the National Students Welfare Fund (NSWF) have agreed to activate their joint cooperation protocol to support efforts to facilitate the return of citizens to Khartoum State and to support the “Return to the Homeland” project launched by the Association to resume sports activities in the capital, Khartoum.

A meeting held yesterday, Thursday, at the NSWF headquarters in Khartoum, which included leaders from both the Association and the Fund, discussed the role of the youth and student sector in advancing sports activities.

Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hashim, Director of Activities, affirmed the Fund’s unlimited cooperation with the Association in all agreed-upon programs for male and female players, referees, coaches, and sports medicine.

Meanwhile, Atta Al-Mannan, First Vice President of the Sudanese Football Association, emphasized the Fund’s leading role in the development of sports, youth, and student activities.

He stressed the importance of activating the memorandum of understanding and expediting the work of the joint committee between the Association and the Fund to implement the agreed-upon programs. The meeting discussed the sports festival to be held by the NSWF in Kassala State, which will launch women’s football as a foundation for forming age-group national teams in preparation for international competitions.

The meeting decided to finalize the agreed-upon plan regarding training and activating the role of the subcommittees stemming from the joint committee.
