Minister of Human Resources and the Federal Director General of the NHIF inaugurated the Martyr (2) Diagnostic and Surgical Complex in Madani

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Motasem Mohamed Saleh, and Dr. Farouk Nour Al-Daem Omar, Director General of the Federal National Health Insurance Fund, inaugurated this morning in Madani the Martyr (2) Diagnostic and Surgical Complex of the National Health Insurance Fund.
The Minister affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the policies of expansion and improvement in health insurance services, in implementation of the directives of the Government of Hope, appreciating the efforts of the partners in promoting the spread and achieving justice in the provision of services.
The Secretary of the State Government and Acting Governor, Murtada Al-Baili, stressed that the opening of the complex constitutes a strategic addition to the health services system in the state of Gezira, emphasizing the commitment of the state government to overcome obstacles to health insurance projects and support expansion plans aimed at bringing the service closer to citizens.
Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Nour Al-Daem, announced that the opening of the complex comes within the framework of the implementation of the Government of Hope’s strategy for the years 2025-2030, which aims to expand coverage, achieve equitable distribution of services, strengthen institutional partnerships to ensure the sustainability of the health system, and bring services to the countryside.
Dr. Osama Abdel Rahman Ahmed Al-Faki, Director General of the Ministry of Health and Minister Plenipotentiary, confirmed the continuation of coordination with health insurance to strengthen the health system, raise its efficiency, and spread insurance services in the state.
Dr. Al-Amin Hussein Omar, Director of Health Insurance in the Gezira State , revealed that the services have expanded to include 211 health institutions and facilities, in addition to partnerships with military hospitals.
