Al-Atta Inspects Al-Ibied Advance and the 5th Division Command

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, and Commander of the Mobile Command, affirmed the steadfastness and resolve of the Armed Forces and their supporting forces in continuing the fight until a decisive and resounding victory is achieved throughout the nation.

During his inspection today of Al-Obied Advance and the 5th Infantry Division Command, he paid tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, describing them as the nation’s valiant and glorious martyrs. He prayed for their eternal peace in Paradise, the swift recovery of all the wounded and injured, and the release of all detainees, abductees, prisoners, and those forcibly disappeared.

His Excellency congratulated the members of the Joint Forces, commending their efforts and sacrifices for the dignity and unity of Sudan and the safety of its people. He conveyed to them the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, the Chief of Staff, and all commanders of the mobile units in El Obeid, the 14th Infantry Division (Lions of the Mountains), the 54th Brigade in Dilling, Abu Jubaiha, the Hebeila checkpoint, the Sayyad 1 and Sayyad 2 checkpoints, the Exports checkpoint, the General Intelligence Service forces, the Support Battalions, the Joint Forces, and the Camel Corps.
