The General Directorate of Primary Health Care holds the monthly meeting of state care managers

The General Directorate of the Primary Health Care held today the monthly meeting of care directors in the states, which reviewed the summary of the annual performance report for the states for 2025 and discussed the proposed concept of the annual meeting of the directors of primary health care in Sudan. In addition, the status of the implementation of the Health Assistance and Emergency Response Project (SHARE) was addressed.
The Director of the General Directorate of the Primary Health Care, Dr. Musab Siddique, stressed the importance of continuing visits to all the states of Sudan during this year and promised to allocate meetings for care in the states of Darfur and Kordofan to discuss the emergency interventions they need.
The Acting Director of Planning, Follow-up, and Evaluation, Tayseer Al-Sadiq, stated in a statement after the meeting that the meeting aims to strengthen coordination between the federal and state levels and to determine the status of providing primary health care services in the states.
He stressed that the monthly meeting has maintained its periodicity throughout the years 2024-2025, while referring to today’s meeting in the presence of care, monitoring, and evaluation managers from 14 states, except for East and South Darfur, South Kordofan, and the Red Sea State.
