River Nile State Governor inaugurates the new headquarters of SFPA

Governor of River Nile State, Dr. Mohamed Elbadawi Abdelmajid Abu Qurun, along with Dr. Magda Abdullah, Minister of Health, Mr. Elshafie Mohamed Ali, and Ms. Kawthar Mohamed Ibrahim, Director of River Nile State branch of Sudan Family Planning Association (SFPA), inaugurated the new headquarters of SFPA (Atbara Branch) in the Al-Hasa West neighborhood. They also launched new equipment and supplies for emergency obstetric care which are provided with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) through Atbara branch of SFPA.

The equipment and supplies for emergency obstetric care will be distributed to eight hospitals operating emergency obstetric care units.

The inauguration was attended by a number of Ministry of Health officials, hospital directors, and volunteer staff from SFPA.
