Massacre in Mustariha: 28 Killed and the Only Health Center Destroyed

The Sudanese Doctors Network announced the killing of (28) citizens and the wounding of (39) others, including (10) women, as a result of an attack targeting the Mustariha area in North Darfur State, according to initial information received from the area.
The network added that the attack, attributed to the Rapid Support Forces, included a missile strike that destroyed the only health center in the area. Medical staff working there were also assaulted, and one member of the medical team was arrested, his fate remaining unknown.
The network condemned what it described as the “widespread violation” of the sanctity of Mustariha, considering that targeting civilians and health facilities has spread terror among the population and forced many to flee to neighboring villages and areas, amidst deteriorating humanitarian conditions.
The Sudanese Doctors Network called on the international community to take urgent action to protect civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to those affected. It also called for an end to the violations and for those responsible to be held accountable.
