PM Meets with Leaders of Darfur and Greater Kordofan Constituencies

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met today with a high-level delegation of leaders and representatives from Darfur and Greater Kordofan, in the presence of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Social Peace, Professor Al-Nur Al-Sheikh Al-Nur.

The Prime Minister praised the pivotal role played by the leaders of Kordofan and Darfur in strengthening civil peace, mending the social fabric, and achieving national reconciliation.

Dr. Kamil Idris stated that the “Call of the Sudanese People Initiative” represents a national project for unifying the nation, expressing his hope that the “National Healing Forum,” scheduled to be held after Eid al-Fitr, will form a fundamental pillar for genuine and sustainable national reconciliation.

For their part, the delegation members affirmed their full support for the programs of the Hope Government, declaring their unwavering support for the national reconciliation and healing projects.
