Nuwwara Affirms State Support for Education in Eastern Sudan

Dr. Nuwwara Abu Mohammed Mohammed Tahir, a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, met today with a delegation from the Beja Graduates Conference, headed by Dr. Issa Oli, the conference’s president.
The Sovereignty Council member affirmed the state’s support for the educational process in the country, and specifically for education in eastern Sudan, considering it a priority for achieving development and prosperity for the people of the east.
Dr. Issa Oli explained in a press conference that the meeting was fruitful, during which ways to advance education in eastern Sudan were discussed, including the establishment of a fund to support education in the region.
The president of the Beja Graduates Conference noted the conference’s concern for education in all eastern states, pointing to a meeting between conference members and the head of the Sovereignty Council, who promised to establish a fund to support education in the east.
He expressed the Beja Graduates Conference’s support for the armed forces and their supporting forces in the battle for dignity, wishing them a swift and decisive victory.
