Minister of Social Affairs in River Nile State Visits SFPA

As part of efforts to enhance cooperation between government agencies and civil society organizations, Dr. Tahani Mirghani Abdel-Hafiz, Minister of Social Affairs in River Nile State, visited Sudan Family Planning Association (SFPA) at its headquarters in Atbara.

She was accompanied by Ms. Afaf Taj Al-Sir, Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid in the state, and Ms. Mahalik Al-Zubair, Director of the Minister’s Office.

They were received by Dr. Al-Shafei Mohamed Ali, President of SFPA

During the visit, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships and enhancing coordination between the two sides to serve communities in the state.
She commended the Association’s efforts in providing health and social support through various projects targeting different segments of society.

For his part, Dr. Al-Shafei Muhammad Ali, President of the Association, explained that the visit represents important political support for the Association’s efforts, stressing the continuation of cooperation with government partners to achieve sustainable development in the state.
