Minister of Human Resources from Wadi Halfa: If any businessman contributes 10%, we will not need external support

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Motasem Ahmed Saleh, announced a third visit to the northern state during the month of Ramadan to provide Ramadan baskets to the displaced and citizens.
Addressing a meeting with officials and community leaders in Wadi Halfa on Tuesday, he stressed that there is no regional discrimination among the displaced and said that the services and assistance provided by the government include all displaced individuals.
He pointed to the commitment of the government to prioritize citizens and stated that health insurance has implemented more than 35 treatment camps in the north, in addition to the state government’s commitment to providing five hundred health insurance cards. Furthermore, he mentioned the enforcement of the Social Security and Poverty Reduction Commission by implementing small production initiatives projects and training in the NorthernState .
Saleh called on businessmen and philanthropists to contribute to supporting the displaced and citizens, saying, “If every businessman contributed 10%, we would not need relief or external support.”
