Health Promotion Department concludes the annual planning evaluation meeting

The Federal Health Promotion Department concluded, today, in the Great Hall of the Ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum, the activities of the annual planning evaluation meeting for health promotion directors in the states, in honor of the Minister, Prof. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim.

The Minister congratulated the Enhancement Department for holding and concluding the meeting, directing that promotion should be an integral part of the life of the enhancer, while praising the efforts made by the employees of the Al-Aziz Health Departments in the center and the states. He extended special thanks to the national expert Dr. Najwa Yahya, in addition to the partners from UNICEF, the Patient Relief Fund, and Eddafa Organization .

The Minister called for turning the recommendations into a plan, starting with reform and organization, and focusing on integration with other departments and programs, in addition to the ministries, Pointing to the trend, the recommendations were presented to the Minister of Culture and Information for signing.

The Minister stressed the importance of identifying indicators and measuring impact, noting that behavior change needs to be “the policy of the long breath” and that we should all promote health, while pointing out that laws and policies must be activated.
