Freni appreciates the efforts of the National Fund for Student Welfare in creating an environment in residential complexes

The Director General of the Ministry of Development, the Acting Minister, Siddiq Hassan Freni, discussed the efforts of the National Fund for Student Welfare in creating an environment in dormitories and residential complexes, which contributed to the return of students to the classrooms. This came during his meeting in his office this morning with the Secretary General of the National Fund for Student Welfare in Khartoum State, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Hussein.

During the meeting, Freni was briefed on the Fund’s programmatic and stimulating plan for the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to the Fund’s contributions and interventions in addressing social issues in dormitories and student complexes.

Freni reiterated his ministry’s commitment to supporting the Fund’s programs and projects and removing the problems that plague its journey. Freni directed the need to tighten coordination between the Fund and the relevant departments of the Ministry in the psychological support operations of students.
