The Social Sector in Khartoum State reviews the projects planned for the years 2026–2036.

The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development, Khartoum State, the Acting Minister , Siddiq Hassan Farini, reviewed the proposed project plan for the base year 2026 before the Supreme Committee. This base year is part of the Reconstruction and Recovery Strategy 2026-2036, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Council, Dr. Essam Batran, with the membership of the Secretary of the Supreme Council for Local Government, Ihab Hashem, and the Director General of the Unified Resource Development and Collection Authority, along with the technical bodies in the competent ministries. They reviewed the elected projects for the year 2026 for the social sector.

Dr. Batran stressed that the importance of preparing the project plan and operational policies for the social sector for the base year 2026 comes from it being the first threshold to correct the goal towards the implementation of the plan, as it contributes to providing accurate data and indicators that reflect the social reality of Khartoum State and the means of recovery and reconstruction in accordance with the priorities and strategic vision of the state.
