Mutassim Ahmed Saleh: The presidential meeting in the heart of Khartoum confirms the return of the state to its natural status.

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutassim Ahmed Saleh, said that the convening of the sovereign, executive, and legislative institutions in Khartoum sends a single message: that the state has returned to exercise its powers from within its capital, in a practical affirmation of the unity of the institutions of government, the restoration of the prestige of the state, and the steadiness of the path of stability and building the rule of law.

He added in a post on his Facebook page that the holding of the session of the transitional legislative authority in the heart of Khartoum, for the first time since April 2023, gives great political and sovereign significance, confirming the return of the state to its natural status and the exercise of its powers from within the capital and among its citizens.

He pointed out that the session, which was chaired by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, was attended by Transitional Prime Minister Kamel Idris and had almost full participation from members of the Sovereignty Council and the Council of Ministers.

During this session, the Transitional Legislative Authority exercised its constitutional powers by approving a package of important laws, most notably the Informatics Law and the Banking Law, as well as approving the 2026 budget after its features were presented by the Minister of Finance, Jibril Ibrahim, following its previous approval by the Council of Ministers.
