The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID ) announced organising of the conference on initiatives to achieve Food security in the Arab World under the theme ( sustainably is the path to food security on 4 to 5 February 2026 at The Ritz – Carlton , Dubai International Financial Centre in the United Arab Emirates.

It will organise Under the patronage of the Ministry of Finance of the United Arab Emirates,
The conference aims to strengthen joint Arab efforts to advance the agricultural sector, attract strategic investments, and accelerate the adoption of agricultural innovation, contributing to the achievement of sustainable Arab food security. It also seeks to bring together researchers, academics, professionals, and experts to share experiences and research findings, present the latest studies, and engage in in-depth discussions on key issues related to food security in the Arab world.
Key themes of the conference include Arab initiatives to achieve food security, agricultural investment and financing for economic development, production and processing of essential food commodities, trade exchange, innovation in agricultural technologies, and investment in agricultural companies’ portfolios.
The conference will feature broad participation from leading experts and representatives of Arab, regional, and international organizations concerned with food security, foremost among them the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). This wide-ranging participation underscores the strategic importance of the conference and its role as a leading Arab platform for addressing current challenges, exchanging expertise, and showcasing global best practices in support of sustainable food security across the Arab region.
In this context, AAID has invited researchers, experts, and academics from across the Arab world to submit research papers and scientific contributions for participation in the conference sessions, which will address the conference’s core thematic pillars.
AAID emphasized that the conference represents a pioneering Arab platform that brings together policymakers, researchers, and investors to explore challenges and opportunities in the agricultural sector, foster effective partnerships, narrow the food gap, enhance food security, and promote the sustainable management of natural resources.
Commenting on the conference, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of AAAID, stated: “Achieving sustainable Arab food security is no longer an option; it is a necessity that requires unified efforts and the development of advanced investment and agricultural innovation tools. This conference aims to strengthen joint action, facilitate knowledge and expertise exchange, and contribute to building a more resilient Arab food system capable of addressing future challenges”.
The organization of the conference comes as part of AAID’s ongoing efforts to promote agricultural investment across the Arab world, support smallholder farmers, highlight promising investment opportunities, and encourage intra-Arab trade in agricultural products and production inputs.
