Six Federal Ministries Officially Resume Operations in Khartoum

Yesterday, Sunday, six federal ministries began operating from the government complex in the Minerals Tower in Khartoum, the capital. This is a practical step in the process of returning state institutions to their headquarters in the capital.

The ministries that resumed operations from the complex include: the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Minerals, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism, and the Office of the Prime Minister.

According to the announced arrangements, the return of the remaining state institutions, including the Prime Minister’s Office, is expected to be completed by January 13th, as part of a gradual plan to reactivate government operations from Khartoum.

Meanwhile, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Agriculture and Animal Resources, Education, Higher Education, and Youth and Sports continue to perform their duties from temporary alternative locations until the technical and administrative aspects of their return to the capital are finalized.
