Secretary-General of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization in Riyadh Visits Sudan

The Secretary-General of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization in Riyadh, Abdullah bin Suhail, arrived at Port Sudan Airport this evening on an official visit to assess the humanitarian situation in Sudan, identify humanitarian needs, and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to support those affected by the war.

The visit is scheduled to last three days, during which a number of meetings will be held with officials in the country.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Organization of Red Crescent and Red Cross  in Riyadh stressed the organization’s keenness to provide humanitarian aid and help Sudan overcome the conditions it is currently facing, noting that the visit aims to identify the basic needs of the humanitarian situation in the country.
