SAPA International Partners Inspect Health Services in Camp Al-Afad

The Sudanese Physicians Association in the United States (SAPA) delegation and its partners from international organizations and influential figures visited the SAPA clinic in Al-Afad camp in the northern state as part of a field tour to learn about the reality of health services provided to the IDPs.

The visit witnessed the launch of the SAPA Field Clinic, supported by Islamic Relief USA, which is the largest within the camp and operates 24 hours a day, receiving more than 500 patients daily through an integrated package of services that includes medical examination, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, short stay, reproductive health, nutrition, immunization, and social services.

The tour highlighted the high pressure and high health needs, underscoring the importance of expanding support to ensure the continuity of service and improve its quality for the IDPS .
