RSF Target El Obeid Power Station

Sudan Electricity Company stated that the El Obeid power station was attacked by drones at dawn today Sunday).

In a press release, the company explained that the attack resulted in direct damage to the machinery building, causing a fire and leading to a power outage.

The company confirmed that the Civil Defense forces exerted significant efforts to extinguish the fire, and that a technical assessment of the attack’s impact is underway to implement the necessary repairs.

The Rapid Support Forces continue their bombardment of civilian infrastructure, essential service centers, and power stations in several Sudanese cities, including El Obeid, which is under a virtual siege.
