The Citizen/
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Mudawi Moussa, and Ali Al-Sheikh Al-Samani, Undersecretary of the Ministry, extend their sincere congratulations on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the glorious Independence Day. They stressed that Independence Day is not just a passing memory in the record of time, but rather a station of awareness and loyalty, in which we recall the sacrifices of the founding fathers and derive from them the determination and will to continue the march of national building, consolidate the values of freedom and dignity, and preserve the sovereignty and unity of the country.
It is a day in which the responsibility towards future generations is renewed, so that science, knowledge, and scientific research are fundamental pillars in the renaissanceand progress of Sudan.
On this eternal national occasion, we express our mercy to the martyrs of the battle of dignity, who sacrificed their lives and pure blood in defense of the land, the honor and the sovereignty, so that the Sudan remains free and unbreakable. We also ask God Almighty to release the families of the captives and safely return the missing to their families and relatives, in appreciation of their great sacrifices, and in the belief that their sacrifices will continue to be a beacon that guides the march of the country and promotes the values of sacrifice and loyalty in the conscience of its people.
As we commemorate this eternal anniversary, we affirm that institutions of higher education and scientific research will continue to be beacons of enlightened thought, incubators of creativity, and authentic partners in shaping the future in a way that contributes to achieving the aspirations of our people towards stability, development, and peace.
Every year, Sudan is free, proud, secure, stable, and moving confidently towards a better tomorrow.
