Ministry of Youth and Sports Launches First National Conference on Addressing Youth Issues in River Nile State

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports officially launched the first-ever National Conference on Addressing Youth Issues on Saturday morning, in collaboration with the Higher Council for Youth and Sports of River Nile State.

The conference is part of the Ministry’s efforts to initiate a serious national dialogue on the challenges faced by youth, and to develop practical policies and visions that will contribute to their empowerment and enhance their role in the national development process.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Hani Taj Al-Sir, confirmed that all logistical and technical arrangements for the conference had been completed, ensuring that the event was well-organized and executed smoothly.

Additionally, the Federal Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam, met with the Governor of River Nile State, Dr. Mohammed Abdelmajid Abuqarun, to discuss ways to support youth issues in the state and strengthen collaboration between the Ministry and the Higher Council for Youth and Sports to ensure the success of the conference and the achievement of its intended goals.

The conference is scheduled to continue for several days, featuring discussion sessions and specialized workshops that will address various youth-related issues. Experts, officials, and youth representatives from different states of Sudan will participate, alongside the presentation of youth-driven initiatives aimed at proposing innovative solutions to tackle the current challenges facing young people.
