Al- Burhan Meets Head of Egyptian General Intelligence

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, met today with the Head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate, Minister Major General Hassan Mahmoud Rashad, in the presence of the Director of the General Intelligence Directorate, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.

He conveyed to him the greetings of His Excellency the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his wishes for continued peace, security, and stability for the Sudanese people.

The meeting addressed the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to support and develop them, as well as the efforts exerted to combat terrorism and protect the security of the Red Sea and the region.

The meeting also discussed arrangements related to humanitarian aspects in Sudan to facilitate relief operations and the safe delivery of aid to those in need.
