The Governor of Khartoum Meets the Secretary-General of the Sudanese Red Crescent

The Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, met today with the President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Ahmed Al-Tayeb Suleiman, and the Director of the Emergency Department of the Society, in the presence of the President of the Red Crescent Society Khartoum State Branch, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah.
The meeting discussed ways to activate and develop the work of the Red Crescent Society in the state and enhance its humanitarian and service role during the next phase, especially in light of the challenges facing the state. The Governor of Khartoum State praised the great efforts made by the workers of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, commending their effective contributions and pivotal role in supporting the state and providing humanitarian and health services to citizens during the war period, stressing the importance of continuing joint coordination between the state government and the Society to alleviate the suffering of citizens and enhance emergency response.
- The President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Ahmed Al-Tayeb Suleiman, revealed the ongoing efforts to return the Society’s office to practice its activities from within the state of Khartoum during the current month afte
