Nuwara Abu Mohammed affirms that the leadership spares no effort in checking on the well-being of citizens

As part of her inspection tour of several localities in Red Sea State, Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohammed Mohammed Tahir, a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, received a briefing on the security situation in Haya locality and the locality’s efforts in providing services and implementing development projects. The briefing was presented by the locality’s security committee in the presence of the Governor of Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohammed Nour.

The Sovereignty Council member directed the need to strengthen the security presence in mining areas to reduce conflicts and disputes that could affect the continued interests of citizens.

Furthermore, during her meeting with tribal leaders in Haya locality, Dr. Nawara affirmed that the leadership spares no effort in checking on the well-being of citizens and monitoring government performance at the lowest administrative levels in order to serve the people and address their needs.

She pointed to the pioneering role of traditional leaders in maintaining social cohesion through wisdom and protecting it from polarization and destructive ideologies.

For his part, the Governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, directed the local authorities in Haya to allocate all local revenues to support essential services in health, water, and education.

He reiterated the state government’s commitment to addressing any shortcomings the locality might face in establishing development facilities and providing services.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the traditional administration in Haya expressed their appreciation for the visit of the Sovereignty Council member and the state government, and their concern for citizens’ problems and strengthening security. They affirmed the traditional administration’s readiness to stand with the state, guided by customs and traditions, in leading the state’s society and preventing any rift in the cohesion of local communities, thus preserving the social fabric and national unity in light of the targeting and aggression facing the country.
