Minister of Minerals Holds Meetings with Several Franchises Companies and Pledges to Resolve Challenges

On Tuesday, the Minister of Minerals, Professor Nour El-Daem Taha, held a series of separate meetings with several franchises companies as part of the Ministry’s efforts to monitor Companies performance and review the progress of work at their various sites.
The meetings, which were attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Hind Siddiq, included representatives from Adramo, Omdurman, and Pan Sudan Mining Companies.
During the meetings, company directors provided comprehensive briefings on their operations and production activities, as well as the most significant technical and administrative challenges they face. In this regard, the Minister emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to addressing all issues hindering the companies’ work, thereby enhancing their ability to perform their duties efficiently and contributing to increased production rates.
The Minister also reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to implementing its plans and policies for 2026, related to consolidating the principles of green mining, and enhancing efforts to combat smuggling by tightening control over borders, markets and all crossings using the latest available technologies, in order to ensure the protection of mineral resources as a strategic economic resource, and to support the state’s directions towards increasing production and regulating the conventional mining sector.
