Khartoum Security Committee Bans New Year’s Celebrations and Demonstrations

The Khartoum State Security Committee decided in its meeting today to ban New Year’s celebrations in halls, clubs, and resorts, and to prohibit all demonstrations and marches, dealing with them decisively.

The meeting emphasized the importance of joint patrols and security cordons, and directed local authorities to complete the formation of service committees.
