Integrated Nutrition Interventions Campaign in 3 States Launches

The National Nutrition Program at the Federal Ministry of Health announced the launch of the integrated nutrition interventions campaign in the states of Kassala, the Red Sea, and Blue Nile, which will continue until the third of next December, while it continues in Tawila locality in North Darfur.

The Federal Chamber of the Campaign held its meeting at the General Administration Hall for Basic Health Care in the city of Kassala, reviewing the reports from the liaison officers on the equipment before the launch of the campaigns in the targeted provinces. It also reviewed the reports on the previous campaign, which concluded last Thursday, related to the plans of the federal supervisors and their observations on the teams, home visits, and geographical coverage, in addition to the observations of the state rooms, supply, side effects, the detection of cases, and their referral to treatment centers, and various health promotion activities and coverages.

The Chamber confirmed that the services provided include the distribution of vitamin A for children from 6 months to 5 years old, bendazole pills for children from 1 to 5 years old, in addition to Vifulo pills for pregnant women at fixed centers, and nutrient powder.
