The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development and the Acting Minister, Siddiq Hassan Farini, welcomed the expatriates on behalf of the state government and the state community from Heglig and South Kordofan after the attack by the Rapid Support Militia.

Their presence is a condemnation of the treacherous practices of the militia, which talks about marginalization as it seeks to displace the Sudanese people and practice all kinds of violations against women, children, and families.

He directed the UNHCR, the administration of the shelter center, the women and family departments, and the child welfare council to provide psychological and social support, stressing that they stand up for their needs. He thanked the Human Appeal Organization for providing shelter materials, and food items will be provided successively.

The Commissioner of Voluntary and Humanitarian Action, Khaled Abdel Rahim, congratulated the expatriates on the safe arrival of Khartoum and confirmed the provision of shelter and food assistance to all expatriates.
