The Director General of the Ministry of Social Development, the Acting Minister, and Member of the Board of Directors of the National Health Insurance Fund, Siddiq Hassan Farini, participated in the annual meeting of the Fund. He revealed his efforts to return the Health Insurance Authority of Khartoum State to its previous state, discussing the current situation of the Authority, the challenges facing its work, and the importance of concerted efforts to rescue it so that it can complete the emergency phase and recover, thereby improving the required medical services. He renewed their confidence in the Supreme Committee to create the appropriate environment for intervention.

The Board discussed the previous directions, the Fund’s performance report for the year 2025, the performance report of the additional medical services package for the current year, and the Fund’s plan and budget for the year (2026), and the proposal to diversify funding sources
