East Nile Locality Celebrates the 71st Anniversary of the Sudanese Police

The 71st anniversary of the Sudanese Police was celebrated on Thursday in the East Nile locality (Sharg En Nile), which falls on the fourth of December each year. This year’s celebration comes under the slogan “Support and Honor… Security and Safety,” headed by the East Nile Local Police, in the presence of an estimated number of directors of various departments, employees of the Traffic Department, and a number of officers of various ranks and specializations within the police institution. Additionally, there were representatives from the Commander of the Bahri Military Zone, the Bahri Local Police, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Support of Police Forces, various secretariats of the Council, civil administrations, companies, institutions, organizations, initiatives, women, and youth.
Brigadier General of Police Al-Tayeb Abdel Rahman Arafa, representative of the Khartoum State Police, congratulated the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the police in the East Nile locality on the 71st anniversary of the Sudanese Police. He also saluted the leadership of the municipality, represented by its Executive Director. He said, “Victory is for the armed forces, mercy is for the martyrs, the wounded are healed, and everyone returns to the reconstruction and renaissance of the homeland.”
He stressed his pride and happiness in the security and safety that we feel and see at the local level of East Nile, reflecting the role of the Sudanese police in providing security and safety to citizens and offering them various services. “The police are the safe hand and one of the forces that stood against the oppressors who betrayed the country.”
The Executive Director of East Nile Locality, Mortada Yacoub, sent congratulations and blessings to the Sudanese people on the victories of the Sudanese Armed Forces. “On this 71st Anniversary of the Police, the Sovereignty Council, the Council of Ministers, the Government of Khartoum State, The Ministry of Interior, the Sudan Police, the Khartoum State Police, and the Mujahideen brothers in every local police in East Nile wished paradise and eternity to the martyrs of the police, the martyrs of the Armed Forces, and the martyrs of dignity—”the war of dignity that preserved the dignity and pride of the Sudanese people.”
The Director of the East Nile Local Police, Brigadier General Ibrahim Idris, stated that East Nile has suffered and withstood a lot from the scourge of the war, and was able, with the efforts of the armed forces, the supporting forces, and the joint forces, to ensure that East Nile and its localities live in security, safety, and stability.
He stressed that the police and the community are one hand in achieving security and tranquility, strengthening community relations, and awakening the community.
